We had an unusual home in mind when we were referred to Kelly. She showed us a couple of other houses to make sure we were certain, and then submitted our offer. As it turned out, we had problems selling our house which we had to do to secure a new mortgage, so the offer had to be submitted twice. Then the seller of the new house (a very difficult person), refused to do the work the bank mandated for the sale, and routinely blew off all the signing deadlines during the process. Kelly fielded all my calls and texts no matter what time of day and did a great job calming me down and explaining things when we were thrown yet another curve ball. She also had good communication with the seller's realtor which helped a lot getting us through this difficult transaction. Kelly went the extra mile to negotiate a rental contract so we could move directly into the house from our other house and our stuff would not have to go to storage while the sales were recorded. The seller dragged her feet signing this too and just as the moving men were just closing up the truck, she changed her mind, but Kelly did everything she could to try to make it work out for us. Finally when the sale was a done deal, the previous owner did not leave the key on the property where she said it was. The realtors paid for a locksmith so we wouldn't have to spend another night in the motel with our four pets. We appreciated that so much! After the sale, Kelly helped with advice about insurance, and clarifications about the sales contract regarding two different plumbing problems. Kelly had the skills and patience to deal with such a challenging sale and it was very helpful for us to have a warm and friendly person on our side. We really do love our new house for the reasons we were initially attracted to it, and hope to never move again! I have recommended Kelly to friends and family who want to move to the Springfield/Eugene area. Hopefully the sort (and amount) of problems we ran into are not very common, but if things do go south you can know Kelly is in it for the long haul, and will get you through with her professionalism, sane perspective, and good humor.

Kelly was GREAT! My wife and I just moved to the area and decided to buy. Based off previous reviews we went with Kelly. There is a good reason people have nothing but good things to say about her. She was so responsive, friendly and cared about us having a great experience. She is very knowledgeable about the area and was able to help guide us into the best house according to our budget. Tl;DR: I will ONLY use Kelly as my agent in the greater Eugene area, FOREVER. Kelly is HONEST, works EXTREMELY hard, and was ULTRA patient with me. I closed on June 16th. When I started looking for a real estate agent, my top priority was finding someone who would be on my team and who is truly honest. I can't handle the idea of working with someone who doesn't have my best interests at heart, or who isn't honest. This is especially true when I'm about to spend more money than I've ever spent before in my life. To say that Kelly exceeded all of my expectations is a vast understatement. I originally chose Kelly -- tentatively -- because she is among the highest rated real estate agents on Yelp for the Eugene area. I began trusting Kelly shortly after we viewed our first set of homes. She immediately pointed out mold, mildew, dry rot, termite damage, strange floor plans, poor design choices, etc. She really was on my side every step of the way. While we were viewing one particular home in Veneta, I asked her what she thought about the house. She turned to me and literally said: "I wouldn't buy this house for any amount of money". I asked her why, dumbfounded, and she proceeded to explain all of the headaches and costs that I would endure, were I to close on the place. I couldn't believe that level of honesty but I can tell you definitely that I was profoundly grateful for it. I changed my mind about what I was looking for at least ten times throughout the entire process, which lasted from December of 2022 until mid-June of 2023. Kelly remained patient and helped to guide me every step of the way. I can't really relate to you who are reading this just how valuable Kelly's patience and good advice actually was. It's not just that Kelly was on my team and is an honest person. She also gets to know you and gives solid, useful advice based on what you really want. She isn't afraid to recommend that you NOT buy a home if it's not right for you, which isn't in her best financial interest but IS in YOUR best interest. She could make a lot more money if she just shoehorned you into the first home that you were willing to buy, but she refuses to do that. I can personally attest to the fact that Kelly really does enjoy watching her clients get what they really want and end up happy. I even invited her to my housewarming party, and she agreed to come! I will never use another real estate agent if I can possibly help it. I know that I'll get what I want at a good price with Kelly working with me. Speaking of that, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Kelly never leaves the ball in her court. Whenever the home-buying process is waiting on her, she works diligently to finish her part in the process. In short, she always prioritizes you when she has work to do on your behalf. Kelly is amazing, straight up. I promised her the best review I could write because I am so grateful for all of her help throughout my entire home-buying process. She really does deserve it.
